Why we're here
Life-Changing Experience.
Years ago, a catastrophic car accident nearly took my brother's life. His prognosis was bleak. He was not expected to wake from his coma, let alone regain physical and cognitive abilities. Against these odds, with the help of medical professionals including OTs, he worked tirelessly to speak, walk and define a new, meaningful life. One of the most impactful therapeutic processes for him were private group therapy sessions, where he met peers and worked towards his personal goals in a supportive environment. I witnessed the positive impact of these groups first-hand and have been on a path to starting Together OT ever since.~ Heather Harder, Reg. OT (Ont.)
